Lise Tan

Born in Guangzhou, China, Lise Tan began her piano studies at the Xinghai Music Conservatory at the age of six. After graduating from high school, she immigrated to Canada with her family. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from McGill University and an Artist Diploma from the Montreal Conservatory of Music. She has further refined her artistry through masterclasses with renowned pianists, including Jane Coop and John Perry. Lise has been actively teaching and collaborating with opera singers and instrumentalists. She served as the musical advisor for the McGill Students’ Classical Music Club, mentoring amateur chamber ensembles. Relocating to Vancouver in 2017, she established herself as a piano accompanist for the Goh Ballet and a piano instructor at the Music Gallery. In June 2019, she made her Vancouver recital debut alongside flutist Ada Qian. From 2023 to 2025, Lise served as a Senior Piano Teacher at the Pearl River Piano Group Ltd. Art Centre. She is committed to nurturing both technical precision and emotional expression in her students and performances 譚女士出生於中國廣州，6歲起在廣州星海音樂學院跟隨院長劉春榮教授學習鋼琴，先後跟隨嚴冬和黃玉澄教授學習樂理及視唱練耳。中學畢業後跟隨雙親移居加拿大，居住在魁北克省蒙特婁。在蒙特婁麥基爾大學獲得音樂學士學位，畢業後仍然於蒙特婁音樂學院繼續深造獲得藝術家文憑，並師事Mireille Lagacé及Luc Beauséjour兩位教授學習大鍵琴與古鋼琴等歐洲早期古樂課程。就學期間，參加過著名鋼琴家如Jane Coop, John Perry, Jean Saulnier等音樂家們的大師班。近年她積極與其他音樂家合作與從事教學。她曾經是麥基爾大學的古典音樂學生會（McGill Students’ Classical Music Club）的成員並且擔任音樂藝術顧問，指導室內樂課程。2017夏天移居到溫哥華開展新的生活，曾擔任溫哥華享負盛名的吳氏芭蕾舞學院（Goh Ballet Academy）的鋼琴專職伴奏。2019年與長笛家朋友舉辦了首場在溫哥華音樂會。2023 - 2025 受聘於廣州珠江鋼琴藝術中心擔任高級鋼琴教師。擅長系統教學，重視基本功。
