While completing my RCM ARCT in Pedagogy, I began studies at UBC in 1974. This included 2 years in piano performance and then completing a Bachelor of Education degree. I followed with teaching piano privately and working as a music specialist in District 43 (Coquitlam) for 7 years. Subsequently, I continued to teach privately, compose and work as a church musician. More recently, in 2015, I returned to UBC to complete my Bachelor of Music degree, piano performance. Learning is life long and I welcome students of all ages to develop personal expression through piano studies.
