My well-balanced artistic curriculum cultivates understanding, confidence and joy in music making at all levels. As a highly qualified pianist, Royal Conservatory Certified Teacher and Examiner, I seek to inspire excellence at the piano through repertoire, technical skills and creativity. Students receive a personalized plan for the academic year outlining goals and objectives at the piano. Students may also explore composition and ensemble playing. Several times during the year I attend local teacher workshops and annually, I travel to the MTNA conference for professional development. This infusion of new ideas enhances my teaching approach and philosophy and is shared with all of my students. Whether my students become music professionals or choose to follow a different career path, I believe that the discipline learned from practicing on a daily basis is invaluable. Perhaps more importantly, students are imparted with this gift of music to be shared with others or for their own personal enjoyment. The Key to enrichment and growth.
