As a teacher of over forty years experience, I like to direct students to work with their strengths and also to help them overcome weaknesses in a positive manner. I believe that teaching music is both art and science, and that the gift of music belongs to everyone. Everyone can benefit from learning music, as it is a universal language which goes beyond mere words. I have taught numerous types of ensembles in the public and private school systems, including string orchestra, band and choral groups. and bring my expertise of music pedagogy background in Suzuki, Kodaly and other methods to my private students also.
