Marina Pavlova

I received a well-rounded music education deeply rooted in the Russian and European piano traditions and I am committed to passing it on to my students. I teach ages five to adults, maximizing each student’s age-appropriate learning skills, unique interests and potential, varying from a fun introduction to music to rigorous exam preparation. I’ve prepared dozens of students for The Royal Conservatory of Music piano, theory and history examinations on Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced levels. My students consistently score “high honor” and “high honor with distinction” awards, including “best in state” award. But most importantly, whether they achieve their ambitious goals or learn music for its intellectual and spiritual benefits, my students receive a strong foundation in piano technique, a deep knowledge of music theory and history and a life-long admiration and love for music making.
