Mona DeCesare

Mona Wu DeCesare, NCTM is a graduate of UCLA and the Aspen Music School studied under Aube Tzerko, and earned multiple degrees in piano performance (BA & MFA). At present,she serves as a music faculty at Moorpark College. Previously, she taught at Pepperdine University, Pasadena City College, and Oxnard College. She maintains a private studio and is a member of the Music Teachers' Assn. of Californiat (MTAC), and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). She is currently serving as CAPMT President for the 2021-2023 term. She also served as CAPMT VP of Competitions, MTNA Performance Competition Chair for CA, MTNA Performance Competition Senior Coordinator, CAPMT Contemporary Competition State Chair, and CAPMT District 9 Coordinator. She is also the California 2021-2022 MTNA Foundation Fellow Nominee.
