She is an RCM Certified Teacher at the Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, and also holds the ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Nancy offers piano lessons to students of all levels, ages 4 to adult. She specializes in early childhood music education and in building a solid technical and musical foundation. Her teaching is both detail-focused and expressive, emphasizing precision, musicality, and emotional connection to the repertoire. Nancy is known for her patient, respectful, and encouraging teaching style. She adapts her approach to suit each student’s individual learning style and aims to cultivate a lifelong love and appreciation for music. Lessons are available both in person (on a grand piano) and online, in a bilingual (English/Mandarin) setting.
