A native of Ottawa, Nicholas Ross studied both violin and trumpet at the University of Ottawa with John Gomez and Pace Sturdevant respectively. Now pleased to make his home in Nanaimo, he performs regularly with the Vancouver Island Symphony and maintains a busy teaching schedule.
