Oshadhee Satarasinghe

Oshadhee has had a passion for music and teaching since a very young age. She started playing piano at 10 years of age but similarly loved singing. Since then she has continued in mastering piano and voice over the years. Oshadhee has taught piano, voice and choir while being an accompanist for soloists and various ensembles throughout the years. She has taught for nine years in the United States, three in Calgary, and two in Sri Lanka. She is currently in her 12th year of teaching music.. Oshadhee holds a Master’s degree in elementary music education and a Bachelors degree in both piano and voice education. She has successfully completed her ALCM (Associates London College of Music). She is currently in her last year of her PhD studies in Music Education. Oshadhee believes in fun, dynamic lessons that help facilitate students to learn and discover music concepts while building their musicianship and performance skills. Her hope is to spark a passionate musical interest that brings out the best in every child.
