A dedicated and versatile musician and educator, Oxana Titova holds a Masters degree in music pedagogy from Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts and a Bachelors in piano performance from Kaluga Music College. Her principal teachers include Andrey Nechayev and Maria Yusefovich, both renowned Russian pianists and pedagogues. Before moving to the United States, Ms. Titova played solo and collaborative recitals throughout different cities in Russia.
While maintaining a full studio of piano students, Ms. Titova continues to perform as accompanist in the D.C. metropolitan area. As a highly regarded piano teacher with more than twenty years of experience, she works with a wide variety of students to help them achieve the maximum of their abilities. In her teaching practice, Ms. Titova focuses on solidifying healthy piano technique and developing her students’ musicianship. Year after year, Ms. Titova’s students win competitions, go onto music festivals and masterclasses, and successfully complete music examinations and auditions.
Ms. Titova is frequently invited to serve as an adjudicator and is an active member of the Northern Virginia Music Teacher Association and the Washington D.C. Music Teacher Association.
