I am a graduate of Toronto’s Glenn Gould School and l’Université de Montréal, where I completed my doctorate in piano performance in 2014. I have taught piano at the university level as well as for 6 years at l’École de musique Vincent-d’Indy. My approach to technique favours efficiency, physical freedom and injury prevention, and is informed by The Alexander Technique as well as my own experience recovering from a repetitive strain injury. I have experience preparing students for university auditions and exams through a variety of institutions. Alongside my formal training, I have explored several musical genres outside of the classical milieu, which allows me to foster students’ unique interests and prepare them for today’s diverse musical landscape.
