Raydene Louise Koch

I graduated with a Bachelor of Music after 5 years (one as an education major), under the tutelage of Dr. Stephane Lemelin. He encouraged me to move to a piano performance route. We are still in touch and he is hugely supportive even now. I pursued further studies in London, England with Tessa Uys and Nigel Clayton for 2 years.
I now have a thriving studio of 30+ students in my home studio in ParkAllen in Edmonton.
I am a dedicated and passionate pedagogue and go to all lengths to foster musicianship, solid technique, and a deep love of music in my students. Many students have won scholarshiops and awards in past years, albeit not necessarily through RCM.
I am also active as a semi-professional singer around Edmonton and I have studied as a singer with many notable teachers such as Eva Bostrand, Heather Meyers, and Cory Miller. Currently I take classes with Miriam Khalil at the UofA on a causal basis. I also engage regularly in online courses by David Jones from New York City.
