Rita Faraci

I am a Royal Conservatory certified music teacher with over 35 years of experience teaching piano and music education. I began teaching piano in 1987 and have since guided students of all ages, with a special focus on children, helping them develop strong musical foundations and a lifelong love of music.

I have received numerous piano competition awards and was awarded an entrance scholarship in Piano Performance at York University’s Music Program in 1991. I graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Specialized Honours in Music in 1995, followed by a Bachelor of Education in 1996.

In addition to private piano instruction, I taught as an elementary classroom teacher from 1996 to 2002 and have worked as an elementary music teacher from 2002 to the present. I have extensive experience preparing students for school musicals, choirs, and performances, fostering confidence, creativity, and strong musicianship. My piano students are regularly prepared for RCM examinations, recitals, and competitions, achieving consistently high results.
