A multi-disciplinary artist, Dr. Laberge has been a performer, voice teacher, music director and stage director in Canada and the United States. Directing credits include Ambrose Arts, Minnesota Opera’s Project OPERA program, the University of Minnesota Opera Theatre and Summer Music Theater workshops, the Minnesota Fringe Festival, and Storybook Theatre’s Summer Theatre Workshop. Music Directing credits include; Sister Act, Junie B. Jones, Les Misérables, RENT, Grease!, Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, Pinkalicious, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown/A Charlie Brown Christmas, Into the Woods, Teddy and Alice, 13, and Joseph…Technicolor Dreamcoat. A specialist in Musical Theatre history and pedagogy, Dr. Laberge is also a regular music festival adjudicator, and lecturer on vocal health for singers and actors. She is currently on faculty at Ambrose University, and maintains a thriving voice studio.
