Thuy Vi Bach

I run a private studio of 64 students, ages ranging from 5 years old to adults. The main curriculum program that I am teaching is from RCM program and also hymns as few students eventually get to serve in their children/youth/worship teams at the local churches in the community. Besides RCM exams, the students will also participate in local festivals such as ORMTA Etobicoke-Mississauga assessments, Branch Competitions, Peel Music Festival, Milton Music Festivals,... Our formal annual Recital is usually held at end of June, at a local church in Mississauga. I have been the treasurer for ORMTA (Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association) Etobicoke-Mississauga Branch for over 13 years. Besides my studio work, I also play piano for my local Vietnamese Baptist Church in Mississauga, Nobleton Presbyterian Church, and conduct the children/adults choirs. Recent student's results are my student Matthew Dao winning 1st at ORMTA GTA Zone competitions in June 2022 and won 2nd at ORMTA Provincial Instrumentals competitions in July 2022, in Kingston.
