Violin lessons offered in both Chinese and English, available online and in-person.

My teaching materials are aligned with the RCM Syllabus. Additionally, the Suzuki, Kreutzer, and Mazas series are also available as equivalent resources for students at RCM preparatory through Level 9.

The program aims to develop technically proficient young violinists for community orchestras. Technical areas covered include: vibrato, scales, arpeggios, double stops, chromatic scales, artificial harmonics, high-position shifting, staccato (including up-bow staccato), and various bow strokes in the spiccato family.

I am very skilled at communicating with families whose children are learning musical instruments, especially those with children aged 4 to 18. I understand their psychological needs. I hold teaching qualifications and have work experience in both China and Canada. I am also very effective at helping parents understand the knowledge and information related to learning music. I never exploit information asymmetry to earn lesson fees. On the contrary, I openly share my techniques and go out of my way to provide rich musical resources to families learning instruments, helping them clear away any blind spots in their musical education.

My teaching aims to prepare young students to become soloists or orchestral players, and to successfully pass their RCM examinations. These accomplishments support their future musical pursuits, including applications to music universities.
