Timothy Wong

My name is Timothy Wong and I'm an accomplished cello teacher here in Edmonton looking for more students! I completed my Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Performer's ARCT in 1999. I have been teaching for over 12 years and currently have students of all ages ranging from beginner to RCM level 10. In 2020, one of my students was recognized by ARMTA (Alberta Registered Music Teachers' Association) for achieving the highest RCM exam mark in Edmonton for strings. I was also recognized as a Gold Medal teacher by the RCM in 2015. I have students with various goals - from personal 'bucket list' to RCM examinations. My students have received scholarships from Edmonton's Music & Speech Arts Festival (formerly the Edmonton Kiwanis Music Festival) and have been recommended for Provincial Festivals. Currently teaching in person (following AHS guidelines) and via FaceTime, Skype or Zoom.
