As Korea was recovering from its Civil War, I was fortunate to have parents who worked hard to be able to afford a piano for me at a young age. Since then, the piano and I were inseparable. I studied music throughout my life, and classical music is still a passion of mine. I revel in my students' success; the fact that I can pass on a very practical skill to the next generation is a privilege.1
