As a Certified RCM piano teacher and a Certified Dalcroze instructor, I follow The Royal Conservatory piano curriculum and I use movement to help students experience musical elements. My goal is to cultivate students' lifelong love for music and awaken their musicality through discovery learning.
In addition to playing a variety styles of piano repertoire in the lessons, piano technique, aural skills, improvisation, sight-reading, music theory, and improvisation may be added according to each student’s individual interest and ability.
I have a Master of Music degree from Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. I am now working towards Dalcroze License with Jeremy Dittus at the Dalcroze School of the Rockies.
