Yu Ra Kim

I am a dedicated piano teacher with over 25 years of experience helping students develop strong technique, confidence, and musical expression. I teach students from beginner to advanced levels, providing personalized and structured lessons that foster both technical growth and creativity.

I hold a Bachelor of Music degree with training in piano pedagogy, music theory, and elementary violin instruction. I am also an RCM Certified Teacher:

Before moving to Canada, I operated a successful private studio in Korea, teaching students of all ages and preparing them for exams, recitals, and competitions.

Since settling in Moncton, I have continued to actively contribute to the local music community. I serve as the volunteer representative for the Royal Conservatory of Music Moncton Centre, helping organize practical exams and reconnect the community with the RCM program.

I also teach elementary music at Moncton Christian Academy. Recently, one of my violin students was awarded a Gold Medal, reflecting my commitment to high-quality instruction across instruments.

In my teaching, I focus on building a solid foundation while encouraging musicality, independence, and a genuine love for music.
