Ian Koster

Ian Koster joined the Royal Conservatory in September 2021. Ian is responsible for the secure, reliable delivery and operation of the organization’s information systems.   

Ian brings over 25 years of experience in information technology and security with over 10 years in executive leadership.  Before the Royal Conservatory Ian spent 10 years as Vice President, Information Technology and Security with a private technology solutions provider focused on delivering call centre and business process outsourcing to clients. Ian spent 6 years with the Ontario Ministry of Education where he was responsible for the design, development, implementation and operation of province-wide essential analytics, data warehousing, financial and geographic information systems. 

Ian holds a Masters of Business Administration and has designations as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
