Course Description
This Summer Intensive history class is available online only via Zoom. Visit Level 10 History (in-person) for classes at the Oscar Peterson School of Music's downtown Toronto location.
NOTE: Tuition does not include textbooks or exam. Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks and registering for exams. Summer Intensive history registration opens in early spring.
New Concepts
- the Middle Ages (chant, organum, motet, chanson, instrumental dance music)
- the Renaissance Era (motet, mass, madrigal, chanson, keyboard music)
- the Baroque Era (opera, cantata, concerto grosso, orchestral suite, keyboard music)
- the Classical Era (symphony, oratorio, opera, piano concerto, sonata, chamber music)
