Rodica Eugen has performed as a soloist and accompanist with the Romanian Orchestra as well as chamber music groups and in recitals in Romania, France, and Italy. She is an active adjudicator for music festivals in Canada and has recorded for the CBC and for Romanian, Italian, and French radio and television. A member of The Royal Conservatory’s Piano Syllabus and Repertoire Committee and the American Federation of Musicians, Rodica has been part of The Royal Conservatory faculty since 1980.

Teaching & Professional Experience

With extensive graduate studies in Europe, Rodica Eugen has decades of unique experience as: soloist, recording artist, chamber musician, official accompanist for national and international musical competitions, educator and RCM examiner. Performed with orchestras of Romania, France, Italy and Canada. Featured on CBC and European radio. Founder of numerous Master Classes including the ongoing Adult Performance Class that has been run for over 16 years for the Royal Conservatory of Music, focusing on building adult confidence in a performance setting. Her studio is comprised of students of all ages and is renowned for its fine balance between compassionate instruction and utmost professionalism.
