Two of classical music's brightest stars unite to perform Rachmaninov Symphonic Dances (for two pianos) and Schubert Fantasia in F Minor (for piano four hands).

Yuja Wang is widely recognised as one of the most important artists of her generation, both for her supreme musicianship and her ability to captivate audiences of all ages. Despite her prodigious virtuosity and technical control, however, the pianist believes technique should never be an end in itself, that it should always serve the cause of emotional expression and musical interpretation. “Her ability to rapidly switch from ludic to melancholic playing, from fanfares invoking to diaphanous sounds is amazing.” (BachTrack)

“Breathtakingly brilliant pianist” (Gramophone) Víkingur Ólafsson has been called “Iceland’s Glenn Gould” by The New York Times and was named Artist of the Year at the Gramophone Awards in 2019. His remarkable originality has made an unforgettable impact. His album, Johann Sebastian Bach, on Deutsche Grammophon won Best Instrumental Album and Album of the Year at the 2019 BBC Music Magazine Awards.
