Andrew Goldstein

Andrew Goldstein is an active singer and teacher in the DC metro area. A performer with the Washington National Opera and Maryland Lyric Opera choirs, he has also performed as a soloist and in operas in Italy, Michigan, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and more. Andrew has taught K-12 chorus, band, and general music in Fairfax and Loudoun County public schools. He also teaches voice, piano, saxophone, and music theory privately in person and online. Under the direction of Grammy award-winning conductor Robert Shafer, Andrew sang with Shenandoah's Conservatory and Chamber Choirs in Rome, Venice, Florence, and Assisi, Italy, as well as at the Strathmore Performing Arts Center in Maryland. Originally a saxophone player, Andrew performed with the Shenandoah Wind Ensemble at the Virginia Music Education Association conference. Andrew received his Master's degree in Voice Pedagogy, Bachelor's in Music Education, Performance certificate, and certification from the Contemporary Commercial Music Institute at Shenandoah Conservatory. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology through James Madison University to become a voice therapist for singers and other speaking professionals and expand his knowledge of the voice!
