Ivy Lu completed an Undergraduate Dual Degree in Piano Performance and Music Education from the Department of Music, as well as Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario. During her studies, she had the privilege of being mentored by esteemed professionals such as Gwen Beamish, a designated judge of the International Chopin Piano Competition and a certified Level One performer in Canada, as well as Tina Yanchus, a graduate professor from the Juilliard School. Throughout her four years of undergraduate study, Ivy consistently ranked among the top 1% of students in the faculty and was honored to receive the sole full scholarship offered by the piano department.
