I have been classically trained under the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and Trinity College London (TCL) curriculums in piano, piano pedagogy (i.e., teaching), and music theory for over a decade. Despite being classically trained, I had the opportunity to study with teachers who are trained in other genres as well and incorporated such techniques into my learning. I successfully completed several certificates and diplomas from TCL including Licentiate of Piano Recital Diploma and RCM including Associate Diploma in Theory; Elementary and Intermediate Piano Pedagogy Certificates with Honours; as well as Grade 10 Piano Comprehensive Certificate with Honours. I believe that individuals of all ages and levels who are passionate and wish to develop their skills will succeed in music. As every student has different goals that they would like to achieve, regular communication between the student and I is necessary to assist in reaching these goals. I incorporate a well-rounded approach to build a solid foundation for all my students, those ranging from playing for fun to enrolling in examinations. Regardless of the type of student you are, I provide respect and support to you for taking time out of your schedule to pursue what you love.
