Natalie Minczuk Prando

Involved with music from a very early age, Natalie has developed a special passion for cello, piano and choral music. She joined her first choir at the age of seven, and led her first choir at the age of sixteen. Natalie is a passionate conductor, singer, cellist and music educator. She is the associate music director for New West Symphony and Chorus, instructor of musicianship at Cantaré Children’s choir and founder and music director of the First Evangelical Free Church Choir. Natalie has been an active conductor in the Alberta choral scene, serving as apprentice conductor for the Alberta Youth Choir in 2019 and apprentice conductor for Westwinds Choral Ensemble during the 2018-19 season. Natalie recently completed her Master’s studies in Choral Conducting at University of Alberta. Graduating with honors from the University of Calgary, Natalie completed her Bachelor of Music in cello performance and teaches piano and cello to young students. She has recently sung at Yale’s Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and Pro Coro Canada and currently sings with Luminous Voices.
