Professional Activities
Barbara Byczko teaches both private piano and Suzuki piano.

She studied piano performance with Boyanna Toyich and participated in master classes with Andrew Markow, Jim Anagnoson, Leslie Kinton, and Lynda Metelsky. Her pedagogy studies were with Boyanna Toyich, Daryl Irvine, Lynda Metelsky, and Marina Geringas, and Kodaly pedagogy with Edith Lantos. Valerie Lloyd-Watts, Carole Bigler, Christine Allen, and Yasuko Joichi helped her further her knowledge of Suzuki piano.

Ms. Byczko has presented with the Suzuki Association of Ontario, the Group Class/New 2008 Technique Workshop with Dimitra Marangozis, and the 23rd Neuroscience Conference. Her interest in music for seniors will continue into the future.
She has adjudicated at the Brantford Music Festival, Brantford, Ontario and for the Don Banks Music Award Competition, Etobicoke, Ontario.

In an administrative capacity Barbara Byczko has served as Royal Diploma Program Coordinator for The Royal Conservatory and as the piano representative for the Suzuki Association of Ontario.
