Helen Russell has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Canada, the United States, and England. Her performances with many orchestras include the Colorado Opera, National Repertory Orchestra, Greeley Philharmonic, Thunder Bay Symphony, and Windsor Symphony. She has been a chamber music fellow at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival at Yale and the Festival at Sandpoint in Idaho. In addition, she is artist-in-residence at the Claude Watson School for the Arts and is active as a performer throughout southern Ontario. Helen belongs to the College of Examiners at The Royal Conservatory, where she has been a faculty member since 1999.

RCM - Clarinet Faculty Orchestral, chamber and solo appearances in North America and the UK. Recordings with the CCM Contemporary Ensemble - Impossible Dream, eight recordings with the Cincinnati Wind Ensemble and with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. Student achievements include: RCM Silver Medal, University entrance scholarships, National Youth Orchestra, Kiwanis Scholarships, Kiwanis Provincial Finalists, various scholarships winners at the Peel Music Festival.
