Barbara Eadie has been a Music Educator in Victoria, British Columbia for the past 40 years. She is a certified Suzuki Teacher Ms. Eadie is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, the Canadian Flute Association and the BC Registered Music Teachers Association. Prior to moving to B.C, Ms. Eadie was a member of the Preparatory Department faculty at the Eastman School of Music and an Instructor in flute at Brockport State College University located in Brockport, New York. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the US and Canada and is a founding member of the Candlelight Trio, a chamber group consisting of flute, violin and cello. She has had extensive symphony orchestra experience including playing extra flute with the Victoria Symphony on a CBC broadcast. Mrs. Eadie has taught instrumental music for 30 years in School District 61, Victoria, B.C.
