Cara-Lynn Baker

Born and raised in Winnipeg. Loved music at an early age. Started piano lessons when I was 4. Often accompanied my father who sang Tenor beautifully. Went to private high school. Spent 1 year in England where I accompanied an international choir. Finished 3 years of College at MBBC. Studied under Sarah Jane Schmidt and Ermgard Baerg. Married and moved to Northern BC. Have been teaching piano for over 30 years. Have done some adjudicating for local festival and have volunteered playing for several choirs. I love teaching kids of all ages, because I enjoy seeing them appreciate music by singing and playing. I have been blessed beyond measure by being able to teach and be inspired daily by music.
