Chiara Siraco is a classically trained mezzo-soprano from Woodbridge Ontario. She has achieved a Bachelor’s Degree of Music at The University of Western Ontario under the tutelage of Margie Bernal. Being an active performer, Chiara has sung operatic roles including Bradamante in Handel’s “Alcina” (UWOpera 2021) and the Nursing Sister in Puccini’s “Suor Angelica” (UWOpera 2021). She has also had the pleasure of performing in Western University's Opera Gala twice as a soloist performer and performing in various choirs for up to 18 years. At Western, she has had the opportunity to solidify her skills in multiple languages and classical styles. Her love of music extends past opera, bringing her into the world of musical theatre, pop and rock, focusing on vocal health and joy. Chiara is also able to teach piano to beginners up to the RCM2 level. Chiara strives to accommodate every student, making sure to cultivate young singers' talent.
