Christina Visy

With over 30 years experience teaching music, I have a passion for helping students of all ages learn to play beautifully. My private students have often won RCM Gold Medals for being the top students in the province. In addition to my private home studio, I direct the international award-winning Strings program at Bishop Carroll High School in Calgary, AB. I hold degrees from Western University (London, ON) and the University of Toronto, having studied violin with the late Lorand Fenyves, and violin/viola pedagogy at Indiana University with Mimi Zweig and Brenda Brenner. When not teaching, I enjoy freelancing, travelling, reading, gardening and playing the recorder!
