Ms. Debbie Mun is an accomplished pianist, chamber musician, and dedicated educator. She began piano at age five and trained at top institutions, earning an Artist Diploma from the Oberlin Conservatory, as well as a studying Master’s and Bachelor’s in Piano Performance (with a minor in Music Theory) from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the University of North Texas, all on full scholarships.
Ms. Mun has performed internationally and at prestigious festivals, including the Park City International Music Festival and the Plovdiv International Chamber Music Festival in Bulgaria. She has been recognized with the Embassy of Honor Award from the Korean Embassy in Washington, D.C.
As an experienced teacher, she currently teaches at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School of Music and has taught for over eight years at Music Box in New Westminster. Since 1994, she has inspired students of all ages, nurturing technical skill, musicality, and a lifelong love of piano.
