Deborah Aitken

My teaching is a reflection of my training in the US and Europe, and my extensive national and international performance career. Formerly a college music professor, I now perform and teach privately. Over the years I have taught all levels and ages, from national and international competition winners to those who simply enjoy playing the piano. I encourage students to be part of the process of choosing repertoire. I like the RCM approach, as it is comprehensive in the skills which I always taught, but did not always know of an official program with such a comprehensive approach.
