Eileen S Tan

I grew up in Toronto, Canada, and went through RCM exams as a kid and studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music on Bloor Street with a designation of ARCT in Piano Pedagogy. In 2013, tired of the relentless winter, I moved to Frisco, Texas with my family and started 7 Notes Modern Music School. While I value structure and purpose in lessons, we understand the importance of allowing students to explore their musicality. Our curriculum also encourages students to learn outside of classical playing, inspiring them to compose their own music and develop a deep love for music.
