Hello! I’m Helena, a violinist based in both Toronto and Hong Kong, currently pursuing my studies at the University of Toronto. I offer lessons in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
I have been playing the violin for 17 years and earned the Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL) Violin Performance Diploma with Distinction in 2016. I began teaching in 2017 as a Youth Orchestra Teaching Assistant and have since provided private violin classes to students ranging from age 3 to adult. I have also been an active ensemble and orchestra member for over a decade, performing worldwide as Concertmaster, Section Leader, and Soloist.
In my teaching, I aim to create a supportive and structured learning environment that meets each student’s individual needs. With experience supporting students with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, I tailor instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles while maintaining high standards of musical growth.
