Imran Amarshi

Imran Amarshi

I have a wealth of experience teaching clarinet and saxophone to students of all ages and levels, including beginners looking to get a head start to play in their school band programs, students looking to gain entry into post-secondary music programs, adult students looking to reignite their passion for music, and teacher candidates from post-secondary institutions looking to improve their woodwind techniques for their future teaching careers.

Past students have gone in to study in the Bachelor of Music programs at the University of British Columbia, Toronto, and Victoria, and numerous students have won RCM gold medals for the highest exam marks in Canada. I teach both at my home studio and online.

I have taught as a secondary school band director in British Columbia, as well as a Sessional Lecturer at the UBC School of Music.
