James Lau

Hi, I'm James! I was born in Toronto, and began my piano studies with my mother, at age seven. I earned my ARCT in History & Theory and Level 10 Piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music. I'm continuously striving for excellence in teaching and am currently pursuing my ARCT in Piano Pedagogy. I enjoy sharing music with others and find it fulfilling to watch my students perform well and succeed on exams. I'm passionate about music and hope to instill in my students a love for music that lasts a lifetime! In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, pickleball, chess, cooking, and exploring craft breweries.
