Jessica Jou

Jessica Jou is an accomplished pianist. She was the BCRMTA bursary winner for the highest mark in ARCT piano performance in 2022 and level 10 piano in 2020. Continuing her musical journey, Jessica is studying piano at the Licentiate level. Jessica has won many prizes at the Chilliwack Music Festival and was the provincial representative for senior piano in 2022. She also participated in the 2021 Vancouver International Piano Competition. Jessica also completed her RCM Level 10 flute and was the provincial representative for senior woodwind at the 2023 BC Performing Arts Festival. She has recently performed as a soloist, playing Mozart Piano Concerto No.8 with the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra in 2023. She is also an associate faculty at the Chilliwack Academy of Music, where she teaches piano and theory. Jessica holds the Associate Diploma (ARCT) in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
