I have over 10 years teaching experiences in teaching piano, music theory and composition in both China and Australia.
I began learning the piano when I was 5 years old. Throughout grade school, I have performed in many concerts and won a variety of music festivals and competitions. I was invited to participate in the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the United Nations and was awarded the Envoy to promte world peace and friendship of the United Nations when I was 15.
I have completed my bachelor degree from Xinghai Conservatory in Music under Dr Xiyuan Xiang, pianist Galyna Popova and Shaofeng Chen. After that, I continued my music studies and received a Master degree from the University of Melbourne under Professor Stuart Greenbaum and Dr Katy Abbott.
As a teacher, I aim to help students raising their interest in music study and focuses on their skills, but also emphasizes student's self-exploration and discovering a passion for something new in every piece of music.
