Kathleen* White

I come from a deeply rooted musical background, with both of my parents working as professional musicians. My family owned several music stores during my childhood, allowing me to learn a wide variety of instruments. I hold degrees in both Music and Business. While piano is my primary instrument, I also developed proficiency in string instruments during and after college.

I have been a resident of Coral Springs, Florida, for over 26 years, during which I have established strong relationships with local public schools, colleges, and their music departments. Since 2013, I have been teaching full-time, working with students from Naples to Miami and north through West Palm Beach. I am currently establishing a nonprofit Community Orchestra and Band program that will offer free participation to all residents.

I have extensive experience teaching students with special needs and take great pride in the progress and joy these learners experience through music.

I am a Gold Medalist Teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music and have had students earn awards every year for the past 13 years.

With over 35 years of teaching experience, I am an active member of the Music Teachers National Association, the Florida Music Teachers Association, the Broward County Music Teachers Association, and the American String Teachers Association.
