Maya Vasserman (M. Mus., B.A., M.T.) ​

Maya is classically trained pianist, educator and music therapist. She holds Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Music Education. Maya has extensive performance experience, which includes solo piano, chamber music, and jazz ensembles. She has obtained many achievements and awards in her music career. Her repertoire includes the works of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Debussy, and other composers.

Maya is a versatile educator. Her teaching experience (over 35 years) includes private and group lessons in piano, keyboard and related subjects for students of all ages. She loves her chosen profession with all the challenges and rewards it brings. She speaks and teaches in English, French, Spanish, Hebrew and Russian.

Ms.Vasserman regularly contributes to various musical projects combining teaching activity with concert performances. Maya has been successfully working with numerous retirement facilities across GTA offering unique programs, lectures, concerts and workshops that were specially designed for retirement facility audience and senior clubs.

Ms.Vasserman launched One-of-a-Kind Concerts offering live music concerts for children and adult audiences featuring professional musicians performing wide variety of music genres, including classical, jazz, pop, movie soundtracks, and many more.
