Nancy Mann

My musical journey began at the age of 6 with Music for Young Children and private piano lessons from the age of 8. Piano lessons opened up a new world of discovery and self-expression, building a strong work ethic and inspiring confidence. They provided a strong foundation for my future musical endeavours, ultimately gifting me with the knowledge that I had a unique voice that mattered and deserved to be heard. I'm grateful for the opportunity to gift my students with that experience and open their eyes to the world of music. My music teachers profoundly influenced my life. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Toronto, a Master’s Degree in Music from UBC, as well as Grade 9 piano certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Over the past 15 years, I have taught private lessons in piano, French horn, trumpet, and music theory. I always strive to impart a love of music and teach students skills they can use to express themselves musically and cultivate a voice of their own.
