Ramez Faltas is an accomplished pianist, educator, and audio professional with an extensive background in classical music performance and pedagogy. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the Faculty of Specific Education, University of Alexandria, Egypt, and advanced credentials from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), United Kingdom.
Demonstrating a sustained commitment to pedagogical excellence, Ramez has completed the full sequence of Piano Teacher Specialist certifications at The Royal Conservatory—Elementary (2016), Intermediate (2020), and Advanced (2023)—and earned the designation of Certified RCM Piano Teacher in November 2020.
As a performer, Ramez has appeared with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Chamber Orchestra and has been featured at the Jesuits Cultural Centre in Alexandria, highlighting his artistry within distinguished cultural institutions.
With more than 17 years of teaching experience, he provides comprehensive instruction in piano performance, music theory, harmony, and history. His teaching approach is highly individualized, supporting students across all ages and proficiency levels. Over the past two years, he has successfully prepared more than twenty students for Royal Conservatory examinations in both piano and theory, reflecting his commitment to high academic and artistic standards.
Ramez is an active member of the Quebec Music Teachers Association and the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers’ Associations, joining both organizations in February 2022. Complementing his pedagogical career, he expanded into audio production and obtained a Diploma in Sound Engineering and Music Production from The Audio Recording Academy (TARA), Ottawa in June 2025.
In recognition of his leadership and contributions to music education in the region, Ramez was appointed in November 2025 as a Director on the Board of the Ottawa Kiwanis Music Festival, one of the National Capital Region’s most respected musical organizations.
