Sarah Amelard

Sarah works with singers who are interested in, or aspiring to become performers to help them feel confident in their singing through healthy technique, informed musicality, and inspired expression. Performing goals include singing in front of others in small recitals, joining a community theatre group, interest in applying for performing arts schools, university auditions, RCM exams or competitions, and beyond. Sarah Amelard, soprano, holds her Masters degree in Music in Opera from the University of Toronto. Raised in Stouffville, she is delighted to be back in York Region and teaching in the area. Sarah has completed her Opera Diploma at Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated with her Honors BMus in Voice Performance. She is a registered singing teacher through NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), the RCM, as well as ORMTA (Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association). Sarah is currently the executive secretary for the Newmarket and Area ORMTA branch.
