A little bit about me — I am a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a degree in Theatre/Acting and a concentration in musical theatre. I have also received music certificates from the following schools and programs: ๏ Berklee School of Music - Boston • Theory Certificate • Piano Performance Certificate ๏ Mannes School of Music at The New School - NYC • Encores Program: Piano Pedagogy Certificate ๏ The Royal Conservatory of Music - Toronto • Elementary Piano Pedagogy Certificate • Intermediate Piano Pedagogy Certificate I currently study piano with The Royal Conservatory’s Derek Chiu and am constantly learning new ways to engage and excite my students! I am a singer/songwriter and have written many albums of original music. I have toured as a vocalist and piano player/singer/songwriter for 20+ years within the US and all over the world. Most notably, I opened for Lady Gaga at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, toured as Stephen Stills’ back-up singer in 2011 & 2015, and I am the voice of the “WAYFAIR” jingle that you can still hear on TV today! Every child will get a strong foundation in note reading, theory, technique, ear training, and will build a repertoire of classical and pop songs. I will curate a program that fits the child’s needs and focuses on their strengths and passions, while maintaining the important standards necessary to complete each level!
