Valerie Bates

My studio utilizes a combination of traditional, in studio and high quality, live online instruction using collaborative videoconferencing technology. Students in my area have the option of a blended approach which includes online and in studio lessons, while students in other parts of the country participate in lessons online using a multimodal approach. Each student is taught based on their individual goals and learning styles. My background includes classical and jazz performance, over 15 years of piano teaching (including more than 8 years years of remote teaching), as well as training and experience teaching the Kindermusik and Musikgarten programs.
