Alde Calongcagong holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Windsor. He is also completing a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Western Ontario. Mr. Calongcagong’s primary teachers include Ronald Turini, Dr. E Gregory Butler, Janina Fialkowska, Dang Thai Son, John McCabe, Tom Plaunt, and Valery Lloyd-Watts.

Alde Calongcagong has extensive experience in performance, adjudication, and instruction. He has performed with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Windsor Community Orchestra, and a CD recording with the Italian Man’s Chorus of Windsor. Mr. Calongcagong’s adjudicating experience includes the Academie Ste. Cecile Music Festival and Merriam School of Music Festival. He has taught at the Academie Ste. Cecile, University of Windsor, and currently teaches at Butler Piano Associates. Mr. Calongcagong is a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers’ Association (ORMTA) and the Royal College of Canadian Organists (RCCO).
